Reaching the Shipwreck
The first checkpoint below the surface and the first Gems most players ever bank. A flag mast in the water marks it; crossing it locks in a respawn so a shark or a swim no longer sends you back to spawn.
This is where a run really begins. The wreck is shallow enough that the Wooden Bucket copes fine, so do not rush a bucket upgrade — instead pour every Token into the cheap Token Income nodes and bank the 40-Gem badge before pushing on.
